Yes his vocals on this version are so fraught with emotion! Like you can hear the nuances and the passion. I mean, he is one of my favorite voices ever but just this one you can really hear the beauty and subtlety of the emotion deeply. This unplugged version is like a glimpse of what it sounds like backstage before shows when Matt warms up. Very cool. This one is on repeat. Bravo!] I used to work for Matt and Muse as their trainer, and they are the most gracious, caring human beings with an incredible brilliance and work ethic. It was an honor to work for and with them. Can't wait for this video, as Unintended began my love affair with Muse's music almost 20 years ago. I was living in Florence, Italy, studying abroad, and one day I was at Piazza Michelangelo, looking out over the city of Florence. The guy sitting next to me was playing the most beautiful song I had ever heard on his guitar, and when I asked him what it was, he told me it was "Unintended" by a band called Muse. Since that day, I've listened to Muse every single day. Years later I got to live a most incredible dream--touring the world with the greatest band in history, only to discover my heroes were even better in person than I could ever imagine. When does that ever happen in life? That's who Matt and Muse are: amazing people and unparalleled musicians. Thank you for the joy and meaning you gave to my life in my younger days, Matt! Thank you for making the soundtrack of our lives with your music, a soundtrack for The Great Awakening...decades before there was even such a thing! -R

@@nightstorm16 Incredible indeed! Sometimes life gives you amazing gifts, and my time working for Muse was one of those. It would take an entire book to retell every cool and amazing thing experienced on a Muse tour, the only problem (for a story) is there is literally no drama on a Muse tour, only bliss. If I could say what the best part of being on tour with Muse is...it's witnessing first-hand the months, weeks, days, hours and team effort that goes into making the greatest show on Earth for their fans. It's a glimpse of how amazing the world could be.

Round 2:50 in, That lovely "You could be my unintended" melody in those deep piano tones behind the 'I'll be there as soon as I can' vocal chorus is as the feeling of a dark yet beautiful storm slowly rolling in from over calm waters. It adds a lovely amount of depth and breadth this rendition.

The spirit of the songs, especially now, are incredibly similar, and I believe that you could make Madness as hauntingly beautiful as you did here with Unintended.
