This is why he didn’t go to the jets he has the best culture at ISU it’s not about money to him. Leaving ISU for the jets or another team would have been like leaving his family. Also 2021 now first 2 games are sold out in Ames. 61k people.

@@noragrets5553 Matt Campbell came to Ames Iowa to A. Raise his kids and live in a good place for his family and B.to Coach. He's all about doing it the right way and trusting the process and the fanbase backs him up for that. Whereas if you look at the Michigan fanbase you can clearly see the rabid fans jumping at Harbaugh for not doing enough during a pandemic year. Makes no sense. Anyways, I'd be surprised to see if Michigan could even afford the 20 mil buyout and the 7 mil contract with all the lost athletic revenue

@@maxgula5807 Harbaugh is in year 6 and has never won a B1G title or beat OSU. Worst is that he leads the nation (or is close) in transfers out of the program. He’s abrasive and has worn out his welcome. As far as money goes, we have Stephen M. Ross (Miami Dolphins owner) who has already donated $378M to U-M. He could easily cover the buyout as he’s worth $7.6B.

The Big 12 is no joke. Imagine being horrible then playing Texas, OU, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Baylor. My point is if he can rebuild in a small Big 12 school against powerhouses, he could easily do it at Michigan. I’m not sold that he would take the job at Michigan even with the purported $8 M salary.
