Was waiting for this conversation in Part 1, but happy Chandler addressed the MLK50, I attend an Acts29, and haven’t listened to him much since then, although he didn’t say that he would take the message away, I appreciate that it was spoken about

I have never heard of you or this podcast at all, but it popped up on my timeline and I’m so glad it did! Brother, you ask Matt all the things I would if I ever got to sit with him!🤣This was absolute 🔥! Amazing! You won a follower today! Great interview.

Great interview. Thanks for this. I'm glad to see Matt Chandler is back at being a strong voice in church and thus culture. My reflection draws me to the conclusion that the "radical middle," not the "reasonable middle" is: 1) A loving stance toward those who are considering and have partaken in abortion. 2) An overall anti-abortion stance. 3) Support for adoption, including advocacy and financial commitments. Putting our money where our mouth is. 4) And care for poor mothers a la Matthew 25. Again, putting our money where our mouth is. 5) Doing all of the above for the right Christ/God-centered reasons. Or some combination of the above which prayerfully engaging Jesus and the Holy Spirit brings fourth. Persued passionately combining Truth and Love. This is the message of James, Jesus' life and ministry, and Jesus' message to the Pharisees about being unclean on the inside. I would make the argument that wisdom dictates and practicality lives out that advocacy against abortion is only effective when it's combined with the sacrificial love and service included in shepherding those vulnerable families. Not to mention that example or model helps provide the needed Father influence and masculinity that is necessary in that very moment. And there are probably hundreds of Christian organizations doing this work, probably one or more in each major city in every state that are available to partner with along with various national organizations. I think it's about coupling our time, attention, and priorities with our underlying passion for the least of these. That turns the church from a talking head to action to which the accusation is but water off our backs.

Thankfully we can use the news (not all news) and correlate to Bible prophecy (i.e. Israel becoming a nation again 1948)

can't believe I have seen 2 interviews on polar opposite ends of the woke spectrum here, John Cooper and now this, MC? I wonder if his jujitsu would help him with John Cooper, lol. He would need some biblical jujitsu for that encounter. So many formerly great pastors like Matt Chandler, David Platt, and many others are just lost to the woke mind virus now. It's not biblical. unsubbed. undaunted Life: a wokesters podcast.

To be clear I came into this with similar experience to you. With that said. Did you listen to the interview? I think Matt has changed his mind….in which case glory to God.

@@fitu_jack5901 MC is a chameleon. When the winds were blowing the way of wokeness, he jumped on board. Now that wokeness has been exposed for what it is and is fading in popularity, he is posturing himself to get back in with the good guys. Be warned and do not be deceived.

@@Dillun34to be clear I don’t think of him as a leader haha. I’m just encouraged when I see people blown by the wind being blown in the right direction 😉. Maybe he’s sincere, maybe not. I’m not in his congregation so doesn’t really make a difference to me. In the meantime maybe the individuals he influences will find more potent sources that had their eyes open the whole time. With that being said whether he speaks the truth out of a desire for selfish gain or sincerely may we rejoice that he speaks it.

MC has a general contempt for men in the church. Listen to his sermons over the years. He white knights women in the church whilst beating the men just like his dad beat him. And Acts 29 is not transparent.

I wonder if God would ever say that to us. Not here to judge or anything. Just genuinely curious if God would ever judge us the way we say things to one another. Cause if so, I would be in big trouble. 😞

Must be nice to meet Jesus at your vacation cabin. Lifestyles of the rich and the famous, they're always complaining.
