if my opponent SD's in a way i think is unjust i always SD one of my stocks. so if i feel like im the cause of the SD i don't take a stock like if he were to get scared and miss ledge taht would fall under that. but if it happens as a mistake he made i go ahead and give a stock away. thats just how i play :/ what sucks is the fact i can't do that when they only have 1 stock and SD :/

To be fair, most of the maps I've seen are platform style with definitive edges. I don't know if I had ever seen one that just continues off screen. So for those of us that are generally unfamiliar with the game, it can be confusing.

I never expected them to do well, but trying to organize a swimming tournament where half of the contestants don't know how to swim seems counter-productive. Just write all the buttons on a board with what they do next to them, this should be basic knowledge at least.

What makes it not fun is when some of them don’t know the buttons and others could literally play esports at it. Watching an even fight between toddlers and an even fight between pros are both entertaining, it’s watching a toddler face a pro that isn’t good to watch.

Although it's entertaining in its own way, it's kind of crazy to me that Jeremy can be that bad. Their careers are built on playing games and he has probably played at least 100. To not try to jump or hit A in a fighting game isn't just ignorance, it's how a toddler would react if you gave him the controller. I love Jeremy, he's one of my favorites, it's just insane to me how much his brain turns off in this game specifically.

Well, I think Jeremy was never a big Nintendo player (I myself never had the chance to play Nintendo games except the first two OG Mario games) And I think just last year he made a list of games he wants to play because people recommended them to him. He always tries to explain things but then when everyone ignores him I think he kinda just gives up on helping them. And would you want to help people who just keep shitting on you because it's one of the games you are good at? Then there is the whole thing of them destroying his desk basically. I think Micheal is one of the only people in the main room besides Jeremy who only is harsh with Matt when they play because they have a rivalry in those games, most times they are really nice to Matt. But then you have Geoff and Jack who always go out of their way to harass Matt, the only difference being that Geoff is nice to Matt afterwards and most times says sorry. Plus Matt has a competitive streak with Smash, I mean he played and won tournaments in Smash professionally, you don't just loose your competitiveness.
