Matt Dralle's - RV-8 N998RV - A Project Documentary 2023

This is a documentary of the building of my RV-8, N998RV "Ruby Vixen". There are some epic air-to-air shots from an R-44 helicopter (piloted by Matt Smith of Leading Edge Aviation in Bend Oregon). This video was a lot of fun to make and produce. Thanks to Jeff Chorney and Marc Diaz of Media Mindscape for their outstanding talents on the 4k video project!

Beautiful job! When you make the flight to OSH, may I suggest that you look into the I-80 route from SLC to Cheyenne? It’s a straight road, lots of landing options, and you can do it at 9,500-11,500 feet. On the chart, it looks like the terrain is high, but over the road, it’s really not.
