Ryosuke Irie perhaps the shortest swimmer during this final, an underdog, yet managed to catch up and ended with bronze. During the panpac 2014 in Australia, he out touched Grevers, winning gold in the 100 m back final. What an extraordinary swimmer!
@textera1479 жыл бұрын
+Kewi Rua yea, he is probably the best in technique , thats why he is able to compete against swimmers 15-20 cm taller than him. he is only 178 cm tall, he is tall for normal people but for swimmers nowadays, he is small xD
@lomaxturner97458 жыл бұрын
Also, I am pretty sure he was in 8th at the turn!! The real amazing race was with the bronze medalist for sure :)

All Backstsroke Races are in Usa's Hands for 2013 , that's for sure . Grevers , Lochte , Clary , FRanklin , Bootsma , Murphy , Thoman are all on the top of backtroke mastery for this Year's World Championships in Barcelona . Go Usa

+Huzza yep, there are flag in the ceiling and lines drawn in the pool's floor. But those kind of swimmers now exactly how much it takes for them to swim the entire pool and they now that when they reach certain amount of strokes they are ready to do the turn.

The times in short course yard pools are much faster than long course 50 meter pools because the swim is simply longer.

I mean most of asian people are smaller. average asian men are 1.7m of height and 70kg while black and caucasian men are 1.8m and 80kg. obviously, sun yang are so tall (1.98m) however, the rate of tall men like him in asia is low. You can see almost all of japanese swimmers under 1.85m

Asian people are smaller and shorter than Caucasian and Black people. that's disadvantage which makes them hardly get medals in swimming and athletics
