For anyone that says Bo should do his own thing … imagine something happened to the Undertaker a few months after Kane debuted, and people said Glen should just go back to being Issac Yankem or Fake Diesel. If you watched the Bray doc, it’s clear that both Bo and Bray very much wanted to work together and tell this story. Let Bo cook. He is doing this to honor his brother and continue the story Bray wanted to tell.

He's not wrong at all and that's exactly why I'm so happy that he's being given a proper chance. It's criminal that it hasn't happened till now but this is his moment. Again, what Matt is saying is spot on. Like, the new nightbird stuff and teases they've been doing have already set themselves in bc how different and distinct the aesthetic and vibe of all of it is, has a very different feel than the stuff Bray was doing and that makes me happy bc it's just enough of a tribute while still being its own thing, and that's what he needs, that's the key to making this work.

I don't love the thumbnail for this simply because there can never be a "new Bray." He is irreplaceable. I'm glad his ideas aren't dying with him, though. I know there were no ill intentions, just rubbed me the wrong way. I hope that regardless of how things go, Taylor is able to find success and forge his path. "Uncle Howdy" has almost no chance of getting over. Windham Rotunda was a talented man and what happened to him is a tragedy, but the Bray Wyatt character caused a lot of people to just change the channel (even though some people absolutely loved it). A supernatural character is just very unlikely to work in the modern era, and even the Undertaker hasn't included that kind of stuff with his character in many years. "Uncle Howdy" is a really dumb name and many fans have no interest in seeing supernatural BS, I didn't want the Bray Wyatt weirdness and I don't want Bray Wyatt Lite.
