Speaking as a former wrestler & current filmmaker... The RAW Ultimate Deletion, in my opinion, came across similar to an indie film that hit it big getting a big budget remake. Like Texas Chainsaw, for example. And I mean this in the best possible way, no knock to it, even as a worker myself I was marking out to both. HUGE popksy from me!

I loved Ultimate Deletion, and I went back and watched all the others afterward. It was awesome that WWE let him do it. It would be really fun to have Broken Matt Hardy as GM.

the gimmick was popular because it was anti-vince and it was basically the prometheus flame of AEW, and the worst thing would have been to join vince lol and sellout to him and then surprise surprise vince fcks up the gimmick and its still not working now... and now the organic rebellion of it has died and its over and not at all revivable. AEW is the new rebellion
