Ive been to Ontario a couple of times, its absolutely beautiful, and massive, as big as France and Germany combined with quarter of a million lakes!!! A fisherman's dream!!!

I will never forget the fun of prepping that swim for your arrival at Harwood, that mega session we shared and the wisdom and the banter that night with Vince at the restaurant at Golden Beach. I make all my own rigs , just like you just showed us and mostly with an in line weight , if there isn't to much weed about, never has it failed me and I've had some clonkers , with my 2 lb test curve Shimano perfection with a size 8 or sometimes a 6 ,love the soft action ,its just a better fight and experience for me anyway , not at all keen on these 3 or 3.5 test curve rods ,may as well have a crane jib !! . I've had carp up to 28 lb on my Sundridge barbal rod 1 and 3/4 test curve ( I had two but someone stepped on one of them 😢)

Matt about 20 years ago my friend was fishing Hampton load when a bailiff was talking to him he noticed after he left he had left a fishing reel on the floor he picked it up and it had your name engraved on it he says he still has it to this day 😂😂

There was some fabulous lks & rivers in B.C 🇨🇦 ,Holding 35lb+ carp . As . Some people 😡 take them home to eat... I Would be asked, " i pay you for that fish ' 💰. They will even ( bottom bounce & snag fish them) , they will take any size.

Facebook and eBay is littered with ads from former carp anglers with all the gear but no idea. Brand snobbery is another blight on newcomers to the sport.

Na the best bit is it's all made in the same Chinese factories you have the illusion of choice and don't get me started on the forced labour used to make all the tackle pick the cotton for the clothing that all UK tackle companies use😊

Ive got a carp rod i got when i was 10 years old my mum got me out the argos catalog and i used it last week and caught a carp on it and its perfect casts perfect as well

@aarondavies8486 tried that one. Spammed her with videos😆 she counter argued with wildlife and bike parks and lakes. The battle will be long. I will probably lose, but if you see on the news a British man in Canada has gone insane over eggs, remember you were here 😆
