I struggle to understand how you don’t show anything from the 3rd umpire?!? Appeal goes up for LBW, on field umpire doesn’t give it & that’s apparently the end of the play…. Go to the next ‘highlight’ & the batsman is no longer at the crease!! How did that happen, did he just ignore the on field umpire & give himself out or did he get out during another ball being bowled?? The 3rd umpire is instrumental in virtually every game nowadays yet NZC appear to ignore their involvement.

Calling your highlights "short" to attempt to hide the fact that they're in fact just shit, is so low effort. Phillips took a worldie and it gets about 5 seconds on screen, Matt Henry has just taken 7 wickets and its about as noteworthy as my shopping trip to buy milk this morning. I'm sure at least someone is working to get these videos out ASAP, but it would be so much better to actually make informative highlights which take a little longer to release.

If you want to use AI, make the highlights 10-12 minutes long and include DRS and dropped catches, then most of the annoyances will be solved.

Yes these highlights are shit, but many of the ones complaining are Indian, and India is the only cricket board in the sport who gives *no* highlights at all, ever.
