A companion event to WQXR's BACH 360 radio festival, the one-of-a-kind Bach Lounge featured leading musicians from across the musical spectrum as they share the Bach that has touched them most. I cried when I heard his jazzier sections.He has Chopin,Liszt,Rachin his blood.He must have been a classical musician before Jazz took hold.He has TODAY also in his blood. Boulez and Messiaen ain't that far away. He knows what time it is and even his Bach shows it the pedal, accents, held notes and newer textures say much !

This piece is not supposed to be played this fast 😅 in Bach 3 part works you play them in ratios of 2 usually so the first section is the tempo 1 and the next section is tempo 2 which is 2 times as fast!!! And the third section goes back to tempo 1. If you play this fast there is no way you can play the second section twice as fast it’s supposed to be slow especially with all the harmony changing every few seconds.
