Okay so I died and was brought back to life at least three thousand times in the span of 13 episodes. For those who don't know, I am and will always be Karen and Matt trash af. They are my OTP and to be honest I don't give a shit that they are the most unpopular/hated ship of this motherfucking show I love them and I love them and I'll drive this boat to wasteland by myself if I have to. I don't just casually make 4 minute videos for any ship ya know.
With that being said, I would just like to point out that this is (obviously) a pro karedevil video and I don't really wanna know what reasons you have for not shipping them or how bland/boring and without chemistry you think they are in the comments. Anything negative AT ALL will be deleted. No need to be ugly, yo.

To be honest in season 1 I didn't ship them at all. Something was missing and besides that, I liked Matt more with Claire. But, this season something changed. They just clicked. I found myself melting in their first kiss, screaming when she saw Elektra in his appartment, have a huge agony how they are gonna recover from all these. They feel so natural together and it's so beautiful to watch them being around each other. Their bodies react, they always touch each other and lean closer. Not to mention his big stupid smile every time she is around! I am a trash for them now. I want her so much to understand him and stand by him. Your video is so heartmelting! First of all: thank you for this masterpiece! Every single thing about this video is amazing. There's so much chemistry between them, and I don't even know how people can't see it. I mean, you can like better Matt with another woman, but say that they don't have chemistry is something I will never understand. Or say that they pushed karedevil.. Karen had a crush/was in love with him since s1, and Matt always "fed" this feeling in a certain way. And now I'm so happy that my little puppies are together they're such a dorks together. I share that the same feelings than you. Since I've seen in the last episodes of the second season that something would be established between the two my heart began to accelerate in every scene that the camera approached the face of Karen when she was close to Matt . From the first episode until the second season, I was immensely happy every scene of the two. In the pool , the first kiss in the rain, their meeting and the final kiss. As the two fell out and I approached the last episode , he was beating a terrible anguish of not imagine that would see that tasty thing between the two. The punisher has me conflicted. I think I will always choose them over her with Castle but they are going to have to do some major fixing for me to like them again. Frank does terrible things but he is honest with her. She knows exactly who he is and why he is doing it. He lets her in from day one. Matt never did that. I think that Matt has the opportunity now that he told her but idk. Matt and Karen have the cuteness and adorableness. I love seeing them as happy little snowflakes but Karen and Frank have this grittiness. I really don't know where I stand. I am team Karen Paige I guess. Gosh I never thought I would be torn between two ships this much. This never happens.

What a great video! I loved all the clips and edits to the song, it fit really well! :) I ship Karen/Matt probably bc Charlie and Deborah ship it like cuties too, and Matt and Karen are adorable together. Like Charlie said lots of times, Karen brings out a side of Matt that is completely authentic in its own way, and who he wants himself to be as a person. I do still think Matt has bucketloads of chemistry with Claire, and his affection with Elektra killed me, but ultimately, well Claire left on her own even though she likes him which is good for her! I love her sassy response to Foggy in the hospital. She left that train by herself. And with Elektra, she brings out a darker side in him, something you can actually see happen all the way in the college flashbacks, and in the present. With Elektra, they get consumed in each other, and they lose regard for collateral damage, which womp womp, kinda killed his relationships with Foggy and Karen, not to mention butcher his law career. They do have moments of touch-filled-affection which are beautiful and all but for Matt to be truly happy in a relationship, he has to be both Matt Murdock and Daredevil, his whole self. (and hopefully that's in Karen, a chance, now that he's revealed himself to her as Daredevil)

Still think their love story got thrown at the door when Matt literally sacrificed himself for Elektra in defenders, spent the whole time in that show going after her, and seemed to have this undying love for her that he never seemed to have with Karen. I mean, for crying out loud he lied to her for all of S2 to parade around with Elektra and then was willing to leave her behind to die besides Elektra. i don't think there's something with foggy and karen, or at least not for karen. while it's obvious that foggy likes karen (even in the comics) karen only sees foggy as a friend. when mrs. cardenas said something about the handsome lawyer she's working with, she blushed and her first guess was matt. she has a crush on matt since the day they met and eventually foggy realized that too when she started asking him what matt thinks of her. i think that's what the show wants people to see, that he's selfless and a really considerate friend that even though he likes karen first, he's not gonna be bitter about it and actually be supportive for the two of them to be happy.

people don't like them bc they're not the explicit, passionate, overbearing romance like elektra or maybe even claire, but that's bc karen and matt never started out as lovers. they're each other's closest friend (along with foggy), so of course it's not just going to be sexual tension and flirtatiousness. it's wholesome, soft, and pure bc that's who they are as friends - they care deeply about each other and support each other endlessly. their love is shown through their friendship, which some people might not understand bc it's not as explicit as flirting or kissing, but that's what makes their relationship special and different from his other relationships. so while his love for karen might be subtle, it's also strong and stable.

That might be the reason for some people. But it also seems like there are more Frank/Karen shippers than there are Matt/Karen. And they definitely didn't start off in any kind of explicitly passionate or romantic way. (Though I guess it was kind of implied in The Punisher series ) People were drawn to that couple for reasons outside of the more obvious ones. They never kissed (well, almost?) didn't really flirt in an obvious way, and were, for many people, quite ambiguous. I guess there isn't always a clear cut reason why people lean towards one ship over another.

And while Karen is the best for Matt and the show and I wanted them to be together, they are so freaking sweet, what we get at the beginning of season too is kind of the false fantasy version of each other, to Matt, Karen is this idea of all things good and worth fighting, she a hope and a symbol of the peaceful like he could have. Except he kind of abandons her and lied to and all that junk so like… dang it bro you kinda blew it. I understand you can’t exactly have a healthy and solid relationship when you don’t show up half the time or don’t actually know that other person. I’m not saying people should strive for perfect fantasy relationships, but that doesn’t mean they can’t wish for stable long term ones. I wish we had gotten them “starting again” in season 4. It looks like that’s not where things are going in the Born Again series and I guess more people will be happier with them as friends, but it’s disappointing. I know they also have a tumultuous relationship in the comics and that she’s dead but I wish this version of them got explored more. He’s tender with her I can’t take it anymore

They're soulmates, it's so clear. The way both of them have a dark past but they don't let it define them. They bring out the best on each other and are better versions of themselves together. they started out as friends and, share the same values and belief systems. That's the key to a successful relationship. Matt is a better man, the man who he wants to be when he's with her. Which is also the reason why Karen and Frank, or Elektra and Matt could never work, despite having loved one another. I think a quote that can summerize what I mean is in the words of the great Katniss Everdeen: "What I need to survive is not Gale's fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that." And it's kind of beautiful how it can be applied to both Matt and Karen's perspectives. They represent the "dandelion in the spring", (finally) a chance of regrowth and happiness. Only the two of them are able to provide that for one another. Endgame.

Let's face it, Karen has chemistry with everyone (except maybe her family) but with Matt... nah, there's definitely a deeper connection. The comic world might say that Electra is the love of his life but let's agree to disagree. Matthew Michael Murdoch has always had a certain death wish sort of speak and Electra was a deadly influence so there's the attraction. But with Karen (the actors that play these roles obviously have everything to do with this as well) Matt just shines... smiles from ear to ear... there's an easiness between them that is clearly seen by all but not by those you mentioned, that find them unpopular... probably sticklers of the Marvel canon books. elektra, in my eyes, was a closed chapter in matt’s life. they had a passionate relationship, and i won’t deny that they definitely did have chemistry in season 2, but i just didn’t see her in matt’s long term plan. she was more of a business partner than anything, trying to take down a common enemy with him. karen on the other hand, is a fresh new presence for matt, and she brings out the best of who he wants to be, the more human side of him. i’m surprised they’re an unpopular ship! i love them so much.

Electra was the toxic love that matt was attracted to because of his own past. With karen he was his best self and their relationship was healthy but just like irl you never feel satisfied with being loved if you have a traumatic past and you have lots of healing to do. Karen was everything Matt needed but it wasnt the right time. I hope now that the series has renewed i hope the writers give their relationship another chance

I really love this video and can see why some people ship Matt and Karen, since they have many sweet moments. I was so furious when Elektra showed up that I almost screamed "NO! NO! He belongs with Karen!" at the computer screen because I longed to see what Matt's and Karen's relationship could become.

I didn't like Elektra in this series, just cause she got in the way of Matt and Karen. That's literally how much I ship them. Frank is way too disturbed to have a stable relationship, and Elektra is just too careless. But I think both Matt and Karen have something that just works

they had so much potential honestly omggggg. i don't think karen and matt would have worked out pre season 3 bc he never let her in and she couldn't know / love him entirely when he was hiding so much of his life from her. but i think after season 3, when matt can completely be himself and after karen opened up about the tragedies in her life too, i feel like they could have moved forward and pursued a romance

I love Karen with both Matt from daredevil and Frank from the punisher she just has such great chemistry with both guys I feel like Matt is her twin flame and Frank is her soulmate which is why it's so hard to choose who she should end up with because she is so good with both
