I think that they shouldn’t carry on with the episodes/create a new episode because they left it on such a such a strong point and they wouldn’t want to ruin it. Instead, they should carry on with the idea of the reunion that they are going to have this year (hopefully). If you didn’t know the cast are all coming back together for a q&a just about friends I think, but I’m not entirely sure. I’m really excited! 🥺😭😍🤩☺️

@Juss 213 It is easy to understand what you're saying. I'm a 90's child myself. And during the early beginning of the show, occasionally, episodes would pass me by and others I would *watch* with one eye open or so. But I wasn't a fan and neither towards the end of the show, which I remember particularly, because of the widespread criticism to the Rachel & Joey fling then. Then I remember watching that final episode for the first time vividly and consciously 10 years ago, with Rachel & Ross at the airport, finally getting back together for good and hoping that in the next episode we would see momentum building on further from that. But instead being given a *taste* of the very first episode. Watching it and seeing how different it was in terms of looks, clothing, furniture and everything made you very surprised. But even then, I wasn't turning into a fan yet. It was not until a couple of years ago, when you reach that certain age, the themes are more relatable and you better understand how the world works, that I sincerely became a fan. Then you further realize how *amazing* the cast is once you read what they have gone through and where they are now. Also that certain episodes are brilliant and the the on- and off-screen chemistry between Matt and the rest was the *golden* key to success. They did *not* had to pretend to like each other, because they really did. No ego, arrogance or jealousy etc. All teamwork. That made everything so easy to work with. That is an amazing feat in itself. A job well done by the creators and James Burrows. It makes you appreciate the beautiful things in the show even more.

“I went to school abroad and I had no friends. You guys were my friends” relates so much. Friends really gave that feeling where you feel like you’re there too with Joey and Chandler and Monica and Phoebe eavesdropping on Rachel and Ross fighting from Monica’s room. They also took LESS money than they could have gotten to get 2% of Friends syndication rights in probably the best back end profit deal ever. Friends makes $1 billion USD a year in syndication profits. 2% of that is quite a bit of money per cast member per year.

@@Ishasingh19 For as long as Friends is in Syndication each of the main cast get 2% of whatever NBC makes from selling those rights. They basically took a huge pay cut up front and worked cheaper than they could have (even though at the end they still made a million each episode-$18 million each for the last season) in order to get 'back end' profits. Profits after the show goes off the air. Since NBC makes a billion per year syndicating the show around the world It comes out to about $20 million a year before taxes for the rest of their lives.

I get that’s what he is most known for, but god it must be so tiring to have to talk about the distant past all the time. There is an interview somewhere on KZbin where 45 seconds in Friends is mentioned, and then the rest of the interview is all about Friends. Respect to this interviewer for speaking about his current life 👏🏼👏🏼

He appeared in 93 of 236 episodes and in most of those 93 appearances it was a very, VERY brief cameo. It is NOT the same even REMOTELY as what the 6 of them experienced. There is unlikely to be anyone that would be chasing down James Michael Tyler for his portrayal of Gunther, news helicopters were not flying over his house for no other reason than that he was on the show the way they did for the actual cast. Come on. He was a cameo guest star - one fans liked, without a doubt, but not one that you can IN ANY WAY say had a comparable experienced to what the 6 "friends" had on the show.
