A few jigs from Matt MacIsaac on Irish whistle (Michael Burke A aluminium) and the masterful Tim Edey on a Yamaha nylon string guitar. Taken from the dressing room at Showplace Theatre in Peterborough, ON.

Great playing!! Is this Burke so quiet on the lowest notes or it's just the recording? Has it got a good 7th flat on OXXOOO or OXXXOX fingering? Best wishes!

Hi Piotr! Thanks for your comments. It could be the recording - the iPhone mic will favour the loudest sound, which is probably the guitar. I think the whistle is pretty robust in real life, and I'm sure you would too. The flat 7 is quite good, and on this model there is a thumb hole in the back, so if you play O (thumb) XOOOOO it's even better.
