She isn't even performing it live in her video (because aesthetics matter more today than authenticity), and the performance doesn't come across as authentic or genuine. And the singing isn't better than this version. It isn't even about competition, it's about credit. Hers isn't worthy of the 10M views it has, when this original has 1/50th that. Shouldn't the actual creator of this song get that credit? That's what recommendation engines do though, give people popularity because they help keep viewers addicted to social media platforms, not because they're actually organically good because people selected them.
