It's almost Season 22 and I can still say that Season 7 is THE BEST season of all time. From the live productions to artists' exposures to show format and showcasing coaches' talents. And Matt McAndrew is the best The Voice contestant and should've won.

Audience member - "Way to go Matt!" Adam - "Yeah, way to go. Shhhh, I wanna talk." LMAO.
@debbieday615210 жыл бұрын
Adam has no mouth control. He makes cracks about country music. Hushes the audience. What's great is we know it's not about him. The winner here is Matt McAndrew. It is Matt who has drawn the Voice audience into his amazing world. I chose him from the beginning. Sometimes you just know. He is very special. The coaches can compete with each others egos all they want. Some of them couldn't imagine having the talent of Matt and Damien. I ignore most of what Adam says.
@earth2kosmickitty10 жыл бұрын
Debbie Day What do u mean that he has no "mouth control".Are u being complimentary in that comment,or critical? Not sure.Anyways,to say that u "ignore" most of what Adam says,is really disrespectful.For one,if Matt had that attitude,he would not even be where he is right now.U are right about one thing,it's not about Adam,as well it should be.He has always made it about the performer.He has given Matt some,as he said,"invaluable" hands on coaching and advice.And as u can see in this performance,as in all of Matt's performances,Adam's awesome coaching and advice has paid off big time! Adam merely brought out what was great in Matt,and that is why he has grown into an extraordinary performer.Adam already have the talent,he has already made it as a musician known the world over.He is now lending his expertise and advice to help others.He did not have to do this show.He is by far,the best coach on this show,imo,and he has proven that week after week.
@debbieday615210 жыл бұрын
I absolutely agree with the majority of what you said. He has the team. But there is a part of his nature that comes through as the guy who wants to win on his own behalf. He says as much so. At times he says things that are insulting to other people's interests and it's just unnecessary. Most people aren't bothered. I find that Adam is very talented, and does know who will go far in a career. I guess his bit of arrogance gets on my nerves at times. For example: Chris sang one of Maroon Five's new songs. Blake who was first to comment, leans towards Adam with a smile and says, "is that you all's newest song"? Before he can finish Adam is saying, "do you mean is that your new song???" He did it twice. And, Blake taking it like a man, said oh because I wanted to tell you how much I liked it. I'm not a huge country music fan but when Adam blurts out, all you need is two words. Or corrects Blake's speech it's rude. Like hushing a fan who is rooting for Matt. That tells me he's condescending and elevates himself to the point where he can offend. I guess I prefer Pharrell's point of acknowledging his success to people including fans who have taken him this far. Humble and talented and doesn't need to point attention to himself. I love Maroon Five's music. Especially the earlier stuff. Just wish people could get along and have more self restraint when they speak. For the most part he's done well this season. The banter has been light and fun. Now I wish to drop that matter and say that I am fully aware of the fact that Adam has played a role in Cultivating and Maximizing Matt's Voice.
@earth2kosmickitty10 жыл бұрын
Debbie Day I agree with u as well,on Adam's seemingly rude behavior at times. Personally,i would love him to be more humble,id really adore him more...But as far as what he says to Blake...in all honesty,i just think its all in good fun,and that he and Blake totally get each other on that accent teasing :) In all fairness tho,Blake has said rude and insulting things as well in the past seasons.He often makes fun of Adam being "metrosexual",telling country artists not to choose him as a Coach,or he will turn them "metrosexual" lol But again,they play like that a lot.I think to the viewers tho,it comes across as rude or insulting.They really do love each other in a brotherly manner,and brothers do fight a lot lol :)
@debbieday615210 жыл бұрын
I give ya that. I've realized too they are caught up in a moment or have very little time to express themselves. It gets more intense. The blinds are more fun then it's hard work and serious business. So yeah. I wouldn't watch anymore if either one left. They make good $$$ and they are good people. I'm one of those up with people personalities. Like Pharrell. He's uplifting. And I do crack up when Blake and Adam tease each other. I just want to see one or more of these artists make it really big. They've dreamed of the big time and this is important to them.

If you wish to be a contestant in this show, you hope against hope that Adam would turn his chair around in the first 10 seconds of your performance. He has such incredible instinct when it comes to great artist.It's no accident that he is constantly winning most of the four chair battles. His wide music knowledge also allow him to pick suitable songs for each of his team members. Between Blake and him actually lend credence to the show as mentors compare to the jokers over there at American Idol and The X Factor.

I agree many gr8 singers come to voice!! Bt most of dem get eliminated very early or even worse d winners dont make it big ever!! Dey r forgotten over the years.. Only danielle bradbery, christina grimmie, melanie martinez.. Made something of demselves.. N sawyer sort of!! Dis show is more abt the judges than contestants!! Whereas the 'idiots' at american idol n x factor have given gems like kelly clarkson, carrie underwood, 1d,lil mix, fifth harmony.. To count a few😒😒

Damn the crowd really did not know how rude it is to scream during the God's (aka Damien Rice) song. You need to be in complete silence to appreciate the emotion reflecting from the song. Sheer and scream can be done afterward. Damn it. ็Holy crap. Blake did not know Damien Rice's most famous song! Blasphemy , absolute blasphemy.

I've been out of touch due to moving, etc. and missed the last performance - just tuned in on Matt McAndrews, 'The Blowers Daughter' and was speechless, had to call my sister long distance to process it - did the same thing after listening to 'The Old Rugged Cross' and 'I walk the Line' by Craig.....this show amazes me....I am truly blessed to experience such quality of music and singing....the sincerity and connection to God is obvious with Craig and Damien. Thanks Adam for allowing special and free expression...but I LOVE Pharrell and he looks so sad. My sister says he feels things very deeply -- so sorry Pharrel - perhaps would be a better message to be uplifting whether your team members won or not....NOT your fault....Cheer up we love you as much as ever. No offense, but looks a tiny bit pouty? :)

Nothing will beat Rice's original, but, my goodness, this comes close - I'd even suggest the break to the falsetto is better than Rice's shift to the lone female voice that has always sat at odds, seemingly coming from nowhere, for this listener.
