Great podcast, love Roadster Shop (hooked me on Rogan’s 69 Camaro) but it was nice to get the back story on Matt. I appreciate his honesty and the path that got him where he’s at. At first, I struggled to like him, but having a similar interest in “perfection” and the path to get there… was inspiring. And I love you guys, your work speaks for itself. To watch this entire video, speaks volumes. I think we’re in the same club. Your content is golden.

Matt is a HUGE inspiration. I'm not perfect but he taught me to chase excellence in every aspect of life. Don't be the best version of yourself in one aspect, be the best version in all aspects. Even if you're not good at it, do it for you.

This was the best interview of Matt I have seen and I have pretty much watched all his videos. Good work. You made me curious what your channel is about.

Finally someone that mentioned FF1 as a favorite car movie! It isn’t a great movie, but it was relevant to when I got in the scene. No different than someone in their 20s when American graffiti came out !

Glad he was able to help clear things up regarding his condition as most new followers who haven’t heard his story assume it’s OCD when in facts he was diagnosed with Vasovagal Syncope. Also wondering about the video he made that was trending #4 in detailing?
@ObsessedGarage4 ай бұрын
Wrong as usual Leo. You always hear what you want to hear. I said I was the fourth after Junkman, Chemical Guys, and Ammo to make a bunch of videos on KZbin that was detailing focused.

@@ObsessedGarage Leo? Actually, I am a Sagittarius. Anyways, if I’m hearing you correctly you’re trying to have us believe that you were the fourth detailing related channel when you first started? Any update or word from the ftc? I heard they were looking at something that was similar to what mr beast is catching heat for right now?

Man I have info that would have Matt laughing at what he “thought” was an impediment to driving a car without fear of passing out. When they say, “it’s all in your head” they’re not wrong. But it’s as simple as deleting that thought. Which is much easier than psychiatrist’s will admit, since they charge by the hour. (Just hang on to some of that OCD, it’s made you recognized as an authority in the automotive maintenance space. And I challenge anyone to meet his level of garage excellence…

Vasovagal syncope is NOT OCD. They are two seperate diagnoses.

@1:19:48 did he just say he would consider himself to be at a pro level when it comes to detailing/paint correction? Detailing industry’s version of stolen valor. @1:23:35 this one is even better. 😂. Love the look on everyone’s face. Matt, the truth will set you free.

I've got an idea. I'll buy a ticket to you or whomever you want, and we can detail a car together on camera. We'll see what's up.

@@ObsessedGarage who was your comment meant for and what does “we’ll see what’s up” supposed to mean? All of a sudden you think you’re a tough guy? lol you’re the first volleyball player I’ve ever seen try to act like that. I’m sort of hoping that was meant for me now because I would love to take you up on your offer except I don’t need you pay for anything on my side. We can both bring whoever and have them film for us. Give me some dates that will work so we can really see what’s up.
