I'm not sure if you're aware, but Daredevil Season 3 is heavily based on Frank Miller's Daredevil comic run "Born Again", a comic run about the absolute lowest point in Matt Murdock's life. His situation was even worse in the comics- Kingpin there destroyed his life completely. Just an FYI. It's not like him being a "depressed loner boi" was out of the blue. It's natural as the next part of his arc after Defenders (did you watch this show?), and like I said, as an intended adaptation of the Born Again comic. Plus he's literally happier by the end of S3... I'm beginning to think you didn't finish the show at all. Anyways look up "Frank Miller's Daredevil: Born Again" to know why Matt was this way in S3. Do you want Matt to just he smiles and laughter lmao? He's literally chronically depressed in the comics. That's part of the core of his character.

@@baronhelmutzemo8361 That’s good to know it’s comic-accurate, but that doesn’t automatically make it enjoyable to watch, especially if the MCU is moving forward to bringing him to the big screen. But if you really enjoyed watching tall, dark and brooding Matt diss off his friends and treat himself like he’s a literal Devil, then you do you mate. I’m not saying I don’t think he should be a complex case, but the best version of him (in my opinion) was as displayed in season 1, a guy who was torn between two worlds and two versions of himself, but held on to his humanity and used it as his anchor to fighting the common enemy. We could actively see the two best sides of his character throughout the entirety of the season, whereas we got only a glimmer of it at the ending of S3 when he finally reclaimed his foothold.
