ppl are jealous that a kid managed to turn his skill at rapping and singing into a career that has at least made him and his mom worth probably a few hundred k and bought them a house. kid tours all over, does fashion shows as well and is constantly writing poetry/rap. Even if he never becomes huge, it is clear he enjoys what he does and if he keeps this up at the very least he'll be touring smaller to mid venues and making hundreds of thousands a year and loving it. If he manages to blow up he will be worth exponentially more.

and the thing is he just can't be compared to a lot of the other kid rappers. ppl like jaden were already names, beiber was sponsored by usher, a lot of other kid rappers were pushed by big money. Mattox came from nothing, and when big names like meek mill wanted to sign him he said "nah son, even if its less money now, I am going for the long run, and I can't be the king of philly if I am the current kings apprentice". he's got true respect on his name already. Just a teen whose mom was a broke single parent barely getting by who had him as a teen parent, dad died in tragic circumstances and he never knew him, and he cares more about long term artistic integrity and reputation than he does about the momentary money and fame. I gotta say he works hard, and I'm sure like all kids he'd be somewhat annoying in person, but he doesn't give off that annoying vibe a lot of kid stars like matty b or beiber have/had.
