I thought I am the only one who has that special observation about Matt Pagan. I have the same thoughts since day one of their audition. He's a very special and talented young man, with a type of leadership and organization skills one can emulate. He organized a winner at first try. Who can top that? BTW many of the comments that I read were about how good Richard's voice is. Well, he's no longer with Collabro. Collabro is as as good as ever, or even better without him. IMAO.

All the guys in Collabro could sing but the magic was in the blend of voices. Individuelly they all become rather common. Too bad they could not keep their egos in check. I really loved the group as a whole.

The whole was certainly greater than the sum of its parts, although each of them have above-average singing voices. As to what caused one member to walk away, no one knows other than boys themselves and Collabro, at least, isn't talking.

An interveiw with Richard indicated all were jealous of Richard. For a bunch of blue colar workers they sure walked away from a lot of money. Am I the only one now suspecting the whole story? Simon looked more like he was listning for audiance reaction than listening to them in the first audition. Like did Simon put these guys together for some quick cash? Pure speculation. I always try to read between the lines. Watch the first audition and Simon's reaction. He doesnt usually warm up that quickly.

Beki's right. Simon Cowell never laid eyes on or heard a note from Collabro until the first audition. He recognizes what sells, because that's his business. And Richard was the only one who walked away from a lot of money.

Well Richard and Jamie had the velvet volbratos, Matt was the anchor with Michael and Thomas the blenders to tie it all together for a great combo. Shame shame shame they didnt make it work any longer than that. Usually women that can't stay in a room together without getting caty.

I like Matt but individually there are better voices than any of the group. It was the magic blend they stumbled into that made it work. Solo's by any of them are very ordinary. Crazy they did not realize that and started going back out on their own.
