I believe in Matt Rhule and his vision, and I hope he is here for a long time. I don’t think we will ever know why Alberts left. It feels like such a betrayal to leave like this, and to make things worse, to sneak out the back door. He was a great player at NU, but we have had many great players here at NU, whose names aren’t on the stadium. I don’t feel that his name should remain on the stadium, it will be a constant reminder of his unwillingness to stay and finish what we all believed he wanted as well.

I am not in favor of taking down Trev's name from the stadium. We cannot simply negate what he did as a player. Besides, it won't help heal the hurt. We keep looking for consistency and this whole, "revolving door" that has become Husker Athletics is not going to help. If we don't keep good people here, then our lack of success will simply go on. How much worse can it get after 7 straight losing seasons. I am nearly 70 years old. I was in the stadium in the 60's on and in those days, we were a program to be feared. Now, no one cares about us. It's hard to take.

I think it’s greatly exaggerated where all the sports are at for Nebraska. Volleyball was always good so no change. The basketball teams are better but they aren’t sweet-16 locks. Baseball might be better but we are talking about Big10 baseball and it’s hard not to improve baseball from where it was. The thing is aTm offered ridiculous money. aTm is only concerned with football. Their athletic teams have done absolutely nothing throughout their program. This is just about football and word in Texas is they paid him crazy money. I truly think Nebraska can fill this spot with even someone more advanced who will go harder after NIL. I don’t think Alberts ever embraced NIL properly. Nebraska basically has 1 big giver and there is no real direction with NIL and that falls on Alberts.

We have the best Husker basketball team I've been around for, starting big 10 tournament play later today and no one is even hyped for it, because of him leaving. Spring football around the corner and once again a deflated atmosphere around that now. I would hold off on saying he was great. He might have set the school back for awhile. Trev was a professional football player and television personality. Today's AD needs to be a big time serious business executive. Count the companies led by former TV personalities/NFL players. Come on.....

A & M has been, is, and always will be Texas's little brother, no matter what they do, no matter their stadium's 12th man logo, they will (IMO) never top UT, i don't know the facts, BUT to me and probably a lot of fans think this is a step backwards, not forwards

Scott Frost gave up his entore legacy, his futuee, the opportunity to become UCFs Bobby Bowden to come back and turn things aroune. Trev was groomed at UNO where he made an ass or himself. We tried to warn you of tjis guy and now he has made an ass of himself and our program. We cant let these types of people in power evrr again the position must be permanently and always held by a program tenured departmemt veteran.

The basketball lawsuit seems ridiculous to me.. she’s an adult and is just as much to blame.. she shouldn’t be trying to deflect responsibility for it the coach was fired and what more can you really do about it..? They got caught.. own up and move on..

Trev is helping NEB even on his way out the door. NEB didn’t take action when Ted Carter tried to tell us(and left). Will we listen to Trevs actions and learn finally? Need to get this organization all squared away and in one direction. Let’s get buttoned up as a Uni from the top down and get ready to roll!

This is harder to do than one might think. Regents are elected, and it is not easy to get information about local candidates, what they believe, what their objectives are, etc. Thait needs to change. My guess is that our Board of Regents is divided between people with one set of educational objectives and people with another, so no progress.

Trev Alberts was a snake at UNO and continued to show his true colors at Nebraska didn't trust him when they hired him and he proved me right! Once a snake always a snake!

The football team will just have to keep doing what theyve been doing the last 20 years....keep sluggin it out alone.

I think Matt Rhule will get it done at Nebraska. Great thoughts about this. Who would not like to be the AD here once you get some good leadership

This guy Trev does not even know when he lies to your face . Just ask the parents of the UNO wrestling team.

I can honestly say as a Michigan fan I really hope Nebraska gets success under Rhule. You all are great fans and deserve it

No Trev has tarnished his legacy in Lincoln and left a bad taste in people's mouths

definitely not Trevs A. fault. There are bigger issues on that board. They need voted out.

Connor: we’re in April and the Spring Game this month. How about a “players to watch” edition even though the fan’s opportunity to really learn something about them in that format is limited, still fun to “scout” them, look for uniform number and say, hey there’s that new guy, you see that play? He’s gonna be good even thought that is projecting beyond belief, what fans do. I’ll be there depending on temp in your cool blue 402 Corn Crazed hoodie but ripping it off to show off new #15 Raiola jersey!! Let’s Go! When you rolling out the new 2024 line???

I know, exciting month! I’ll be in Japan and DC til the 22nd, but when I’m back I might do a video before the game. Otherwise I have a few to do the week after once we know a little more 💪🏼

We’ll never know. Pull his name, the way he left he doesn’t deserve the recognition. Rhule will finish what he started. Get a president then an AD

Connor another good piece. Trev’s leaving is a major gut punch. Matt Ruhle is our only hope at this point for rebuilding NU. I hope all Husker fans will go out of their way to support him. I agree with you that he has the character and leadership to successfully navigate this situation. GBR!😊
