The corrupt NHRA rules are nothing less than an affirmative action program for harley bikes so that they can run with or outrun Suzukis. Keep in mind the NHRA allows H-D bikes to have a 47 to 53 cubic inch bigger engine that a Suzuki, among other advantages. If Harleys had the exact same engine displacement, weight and everything else equal to a Suzuki, the Harleys would not even qualify much less win a race or championship. This scam by the NHRA has been going of for more than 15 years. At one point, Suzukis were allowed only 2 valves per cylinder and Harleys 4 valves, and if you rode a Suzuki, you had to have carburetors where the Harleys could have fuel injection. That may have changed but is should never have happened and exposes the bias the NHRA has for Harley bikes.
