Great podcast always the most insightful from Soke, talking with so many years of experience and great to learn the origins of Ishin Ryu indepth. As a yellow belt student of Ishin Ryu studying for nearly a year and half I love training with Soke and we are blessed to have such experience on the Tatami along with the instructors I have trained with, Renshi Tom Sensei Sam Sensei Dell and Sempai Lou. Great key point is the discussion about black belts and the military run, something I'd not known without watching.

Great first podcast Soke, you came across very well. I think the story and ethos is inspiring, and as a newcomer to the dojo I can see that this is reflected in all the students' attitudes. I have felt very welcomed and it is great to have sensible, pragmatic and clear instruction.
