Got to be two of the most genuine guys in cycling. I remember rushing to a race late and accidentally being at the front of the start line, looked to my right and Nick Craig...I said I was totally in the wrong place and he just laughed and said keep up and he’d give me a tow, but no way could I keep up. Lovely bloke, proper gent and sums up why bikes and racing are great. Top film, very touching.

I went to the same school as Charlie. When he died we were all devastated but the reaction from the school community was beautiful. It's amazing how everyone came together and helped out with #rideforcharlie and the majority of the older students still wear wristbands. Keep going, Nick! A great video Matt seeing you fall off and struggle to clip in always makes my day.

What a touching chat about a subject which is very emotive. No parent should out live their child so I can’t imagine the pain they have been through and continue to suffer. What a wonderful man and big respect to Matt for the way he broached the subject .... a wonderful moment between two old friends 👏👏

I went back to watch the first of this series with the legend that is Nick Craig - what a great video. Two top & seriously talented blokes just enjoying biking, but also covering the very emotional background to #RideForCharlie in a thoughtful but positive way. A real lesson for both biking & life in general. Thanks guys

I've just stumbled in to these off the back of GCN. Brilliant series and in this example a very moving one. all the inspiration I need to hit the road. I'm 58, been cycling for the best part of 40 years and feeling fitter than I have for years. As addictions go, it's a good one.

Wonderful video. I don't ride offroad these days, but when I did I have fond memories of Nick supporting the sport class MTB racers at various venues across the UK, great to see him halfway up a hard climb. The terrain they rode across is also very familiar to me. Top job fellas.

Man, this was wonderful. I had no idea who he was interviewing but it didn’t matter - turns out it was just a real human (despite his accolades and achievements). Fun riding, something new for Matt (I had a similar experience in NZ with my friends who all ride MTB) and the very worthwhile cause of Ride for Charlie (a quick Google just about broke my heart).

Hey Matt! I feel sorry for the young lad Charlie because he was so young and I am sure he had a bright future ahead of him. In New York City when my Debernardi Road Bike is ready from its custom build than I won’t mind riding for Charlie in the Five Borough Bike Ride. I am not a young lad like he was since I am in my forties right now. This is one great episode to watch and I look forward for more to come. Cheers Everyone!

Couldn't agree more with the man. There's so much more to off-road riding than just the effort, and once the terrain becomes technically demanding, the effort comes naturally.

Great to see Matt back on the bike, sadly missed from the "other" channel. This reminded me of cycling in the Dales, taking my road bike over Mastilles Lane ( a green lane that goes over the tops between Malham and Kilnsey) , stopping off at cafes and the odd pub, and heading home in time for tea. This is the best of cycling :)
