On this song, those are indeed MXL 990's! Straight off the shelf. In others you'll see a different set of OH mics that are MXL bodies, but other that that have no MXL parts in them. We had some question as to whether we were having technical issues, and had to make a quick switch to the 990's. They sound just fine!
