In an interview with Sky F1, Toto Wolff, the Team principle of Mercedes was asked to comment on his drivers comments about the teams poor pit stop. H r responded by saying “obviously it’s not ideal, but what Matt has to remember is we are all capable of not executing things perfectly and we should function as a team, you don’t here the team commenting on his two incidents on the lap coming into the pit. We will have a sit down with him and discuss these things as a team and remind him that comments like that should be discussed in private.”
