I grew up around a lot of great box players, including my dad Wally Banks, Eddie Lash, Casey Homel, Jerry Darlack, and so many others, but Paul is BY FAR the greatest I have EVER heard. I wish I would have been able to see him in person. This video is extremely precious to me because it's the only one I can find of this fantastic player. It's so sad he left us at such a young age, but one thing for sure: God has one hell of a polke band up in Heaven, and Paul is right there leading the songs.

Ex specially the bass player i knew him too when i was little when i went to the polka dance's with my auntie Leona and uncle Pete when i use to yawn he said to me are you yawning again??? i shook my head yes but then he said yawning isn't good he told me if i fall a sleep again i'd missed the fiddle set like i did last time
