If by chance FSU & Clemson do join the BIG12, I seriously doubt te BIG12 will stop at only adding 2 ACC programs. I think Louisville, VTech, NCState, Miami would also be pursued, maybe UNC, Duke, GTech, or Syracuse. Ultimately Brett Y has shown he will be aggressive in adding any quality program that adds value and increases annual payouts to current members. 1. FSU, Clemson 2a Louisville, UNC, Duke, Miami 2b Vtech NCstate 3. GTech, Syracuse These are the programs that would actually add value to the BIG12 and increase annual payouts. BIG12 will rank them and pursue appropriately. If FSU and Clemson both join the BIG12, I can see BIG12 also adding Louisville, Miami, VTech, & NCState, which makes sense from a market share perspective. Expanding the BIG12 footprint into Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, & South Florida. Even if FSU & Clemson dont join the BIG12, I can still see BIG12 adding 2-4 of the quality ACC programs that seek greener pastures with more future revenues, far more stability, value diversification, and less risks. Not saying BIG12 adds them all, but I dont see a future where the BIG12 doesnt add at least 2-4 ACC programs.

Ask yourself, if the BIG12 grew very large with former PAC and ACC so that the risk of them splintering off is high, would IOWAST be included or left behind?
@aCycloneSteveАй бұрын
@@tarheel7406 I know if the XII fall apart, I'm screwed. As to why would Clemson/FSU accept anything but the best? Because at the time, that could be the best option. If the B1G & SEC say "We are not interested in you at this time, maybe later", once they are free to leave, the rest of the ACC schools know their time has come. They will be bailed on by Clemson/FSU/UNC. In that case they can wait and hope to not get screwed or be proactive. When that happens if B1G/SEC still say no they can be a top school in a P2, poach from the AAC or go independent.
@aCycloneSteveАй бұрын
@@tarheel7406 PS: I don't think this will happen, less than 5%. But of course if you had asked me 5 years ago if the PAC would break up, the B1G would get USC/UCLA/UW/UO, the ACC would get Stanford/Cal, the XII would get UA/ASU/CU/UU with OSU/WSU swinging in the breeze I would have rated that as way less than 5%.

Whatever happened to the ACC-Big 12 scheduling alliance idea that was floated as a done deal about two years ago? It will be nice to put the football on the tee and kickoff the new season and put these clickbait rumors to bed.

The girl comparison is more like this. Your married to girl #4 but shes not as pretty as girl #1 or girl #2. So you divorce girl number 4 at great legal cost and paying huge alimony just to marry girl #4's identical twin sister girl #3

FSU and Clemson to the BIG 12 why? The ACC is a better conference.
@nathanvandyke9951Ай бұрын
Not without FSU and Clemson. Who's the next best team, Miami? North Carolina? Those don't compare to Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Utah, etc.
@jaredslusser959Ай бұрын
@@nathanvandyke9951 It’s not about quality of programs it’s about payouts. ACC has the lowest payout now among power conferences with the B1G currently leading the way and the SEC right there with them. Big 12 would pay FSU and CU more than they make yearly now.
@nathanvandyke9951Ай бұрын
@@jaredslusser959 yeah, that's the other big part of it. Honestly, FSU and Clemson are carrying the ACC, and moving to a conference that is about on par with their old one and is paying more than double is a vrey logical move. Especially since the Big 12 was able to secure that kind of media deal without any big blue programs. Imagine how it would fare with a few like those two.
@michaelhart6318Ай бұрын
That doesn't bold well considering the former Big 12 bottom feeder Mizzou has two SEC East division championships and is one of only 3 (Georgia & Alabama) to have three 11 winning seasons in the SEC since the realignment of 2012.

I have listened to you in a long time but you came up on my feed. I have laughing that you think Clemson and FSU are going to the Big12. Are you going to do a ‘I was wrong’ video when we end up in the B1G or SEC? We will NOT make a lateral move. No way.
@tarheel7406Ай бұрын
FSU may have no choice. How can it stay?
@MsseminoleАй бұрын
@@tarheel7406 FSU is not staying. CF is radically changing. It’s run by the networks now. We are probably going to the B1G but maybe SEC. Since you are a Tar Heel, I feel strongly your team is going to leave for a P2 conference too. The networks are consolidating the bigger brands. I hate it but that’s what is happening.
