Nike shoes are the ones that last the longer in my opinion, which is great for a daily trainer. I tried the 37s at the store though and didn't fing them to be anything to call home about. They were just a shoe, my feet were like 'whatever'...
@its_Matt_B_3 жыл бұрын
That “whatever” feeling is what I look for in a daily trainer. Shoes that seem exciting tend to only be exciting for specific runs. The daily trainer is good for pounding out the miles. Not always exciting, but also a little like life. 🤷🏻♂️

@its_Matt_B_2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think the Pegasus 37 has a reputation for being firm, but it will come down to what you’re used to and what you’ve run in before! I don’t think they’ll break in, but you will get used to them! I have shoes that are much more firm than the Pegasus, but I also have more squishy shoes. The Pegasus are very “middle of the road” when it comes to firmness.

@its_Matt_B_2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and the tips, Mark. Arch support is one of those things that is difficult to evaluate if it's not needed. As this review is only my opinion, I didn't mention arch support because it's not something I need and therefore don't notice. As far as the cushion scale, the stack height indicates how much cushion there is, but the degree of cushioning i'd describe as medium; it is not a firm nor soft ride. It is squarely in the the middle.

If you store your shoes in a climate controlled area (inside your house/apartment), your shoes will last for a very long time. Yeah, 600 miles may be a stretch on the Pegasus and even if they did last that long, the integrity of the midsole (that we can't see) will likely be breaking down by that point! I only keep my Next%2s in the house (cool/dry). All my other running shoes are kept in the garage, which is like an oven here in the summer. I figure I use all but the Next% on a regular basis, so the garage environment won't do too much damage.

Everyone is different because of how they run, but yes, at least for me this shoe will last 500 miles easily!

Does it feel good when you run on track!
@its_Matt_B_3 жыл бұрын
It's certainly not made for track running, but it actually feels quite good. The heel lockdown is good, so it doesn't slip as you're going around the curves.

Surprised you don't trip on yourself, you barely lift your feet when you run
@its_Matt_B_3 жыл бұрын
Haha! Yes! I never noticed this until I started taking video. Obviously it's not as bad when I'm running fast, but my easy runs (which I do most of the time) are def. more of a low shuffle!

@@its_Matt_B_ I'm looking for new sheos as my 1080v10 and done so was thinking maybe these 38 would be a good replacement 🤷
@its_Matt_B_2 жыл бұрын
@@tomallen3946 yes, I think the 38s would be a good replacement for your 1080s. The Pegs ride is a little stiffer, but it’s still very comfortable.
