Kia Ora :) no requirement for a snorkel. they weren't an option but you're right. it would have been nice to see them underwater a bit more.

Do these swimsuits help you float naturally ? Does one need to be a very good swimmer for this activity ?

Yep, wetsuits make you much more buoyant.
