I was reignited as a Simple Plan fan. When Pierre appeared in the video with Matt, I was so impressed in how well it was done and how great a sport Pierre was, I had to go back and stream all those songs. "I'm Not a Kid" is a family favorite now and I have most of my friends listening to them again. Just wild how life goes full circle! EMO never died.

I saw Reset live in a small Eastern Québec town in... 1998? One of the bands that lead my awakening to pop punk with Gob and Good Riddance! I can still singalong to "Why" or "My Dream and I" :-D

Reset was amazing. Holy wars was another really great (and still all too pertinent) song. I got to see Gob a long time ago with face to face in MTL, and Good riddance (when José Theodore got on stage with them when he was at his habs peak). The singer was a prick unfortunately 🫤

I was never a huge Simple Plan fan back in the day, but I'd listen if they came on for sure. I went to see Sum 41, The Offspring, and Simple Plan in Chicago last year, not expecting much from them, and their performance blew me away. Crazy energy, pumped up the crowd, and just an amazing show by them. I highly recommend.
