Not sure if my 12 pro max is alone in this, but the battery life has been very poor for a while now. I’ve had it for around 20 months. I decided to upgrade for the battery alone. The rest is all a bonus. Im very much looking forward to the screen refresh rate, AOD, cameras, and dynamic island as well.

Definitely not my exp. I’ve had my 12pm about as long as you and after a long day, I’m still at around 50 percent and I use my phone a lot for work. Watch YT, listen to podcasts, use apps for work with it that uses gps, camera, and measuring tools. Maybe yours was defective or something happened that compromised the battery? I’m going to wait to see what will come out next year. Only thing I need is a new MagSafe Apple case

Maybe after you updated to ios 16. It is a trick Apple does, I stayed on 15 and my battery is still great. If I have battery problems I will jzst change the battery, costs only $75.

This is very interesting!.I personally feel the iPhone 14 pro max is way worth it over the 12 pro max with the 120 hertz,always on display, dynamic island,48Mp camera,bigger battery,clearly the 14 pro max is way better then the 12 pro max and I personally believe it is a great upgrade as well for people who have a 12 pro max!.Anyway that’s just my thoughts!!. Interesting. In my opinion, I dont really see much of a difference between the 2 phones except maybe some small enhancements on the iphone 14. I would honestly stick with the iphone 12 for now unless Apple decides to surprise us with something crazy lol I feel like the Iphone 12 would still be perfect for an everyday person like me, especially since I can't justify spending that much on a new phone. $1k vs ~$500 is a lot!!!

I get free phones through with my career and when they asked if I wanted to upgrade from my 12 pm to the new one, I didn’t care to simply because I didn’t want to go get a new case, transfer and all that just for an upgraded camera and battery. My battery is typically around 40-50% after heavy use every day.

I’m finally upgrading my 12 pro max! It was a great run. Still a powerhouse. Still works smooth . Battery life is great. My phone still looks like a new phone fresh out of the box. However, I’m a sucker for cameras and that’s why I’m upgrading. Plus, I love all of the new features. It’s bittersweet because I love my 12 pro max but I’ll be handing mine down to my 17 year old son who has a XR. Still a win win.

Just never liked the notch and was disappointed the last week before Apple Event that the pinhole and pill wasn’t it but the notch was moving down…saw it and wasn’t impressed too much until they did the Dynamic Island. I think upgrading from any of the iPhone 11 models or below is necessary, but if you've got either of the iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 models, then it's best to just put off the iPhone 14's and wait for the iPhone 15's that I think will come in a new design.

the 12 pro max actually has 6gb of ram. the 14 pro max also has an ever so slightly higher PPI of 460 compared to the 12 pro max's 458. none of these are major just thought id point it out
