What do you use for the prep of tumbler? What do you use for your base coat?

You can prep your tumbler by sanding it and then wiping it down with 91% rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. I believe on this tumbler my base coat was just black from Rustoleum

I used permanent vinyl😊

Did your vinyl leave behind adhesive after pulling the vinyl up at the end? Mine did and I can’t find an effective way to remove the adhesive. Is there a specific way to do it that doesn’t leave behind any adhesive residue ?

You can wash it with some warm water and scrub really good with a soft rag 💜

If I don't want a decal on mine, do I have to use the epoxy? Can I just use FS over a glossy spray paint?

Hi! Great tumbler... im not quite sure what you did exactly after you applied the spots though.. did you wet sand it in the water? And then you didn't epoxy again?

Hi !! Sorry I should’ve added the link to my matte tumbler tutorial !! I’ll go add that now. I applied a product called final sand. This makes the tumbler matte instead of glossy. You don’t add more epoxy because it wouldn’t be matte anymore
