There were around 60 percent of minister in tippu court who were Hindu. First Indian king who had balls and courage to fought against British. Tippu has guven immense contribution for Mysore state like KRS dam, First working rocket technology, and many more. Being Marata kingdom so call Hindu ruler shivaji attack sringeri temples and other temple, it was the same Tippu who protected Hindu, Muslim and Christian their life property and religion places. He never feared Hindu God's, instead he respected and protected your God's. He was secular, he never had enimity against Hindu or Christian. He was enemy of British and ppl who supported British. Do you ever came to know why he killed Ppl of kodagu and malabar? They joined British and became rebel against him. Kodagu and malabar fell in the trap of divide and rule and wanted eliminate tippu. Tippu hated British and foreign rule a lot. Hence he wage war against British and also Ppl who supported them. Don't forgot he was hating Hyderabad of Nizam as well. And you know very well they were Muslim.

rahamanmrk first of all kodagu ppl hated him becoz he was in power in the place of Mysore maharajas. All Karnataka ppl were in support of maharajas of Mysore not for tippu. Also he had made a rule in kodagu and Malabar where if anyone committed any crime they will be punished. But if they convert to island they will not be punished. This point is accepted by majority of historians. He helped Dave sringeri becoz he knew 8f he had to maintain his control over malenadu region whichbwas covered by thick forests and steep hills he had to have support of local ppl to gain support of local ppl he supported sringeri mutt. Yes he had Hindu ministers becoz Mysore region was dominated by Hindus. Without support if Hindu scholars he would not be able to rule. All Hindu ppl were in support of Mysore maharajas. To keep them happy he had to have Hindus in his court. Not just Tippu many kings were hating British except some. Also rocket technology he did get it done yes accepted it was a great step. But why he did it, he did it to save his kingdom. Krs can would not have been completed without our Maharani's support she gave away all her gold for the sake of krs. So you should not give credit only to Tippu. Now answer me if you say a king is a patriot and secular then why he did that rule that if anyone got converted to islam they will not be punished for their crime? Not even a single maharaja of Mysore did such rule. Not even a single conversion happened no Islamic person was converted to Hindu instead many Hindu kings patrons many Islamic scholars. That's called secularism.
