The boat is great. I always wondered why they never made one as it could display 75% of the figures. An idea for Calibos. Make a fork for his hand that was cut off. You could make a “gun handle” to fit in his hand. The top part of the cylinder covers the hand and attaches to the handle. The fork comes off the end. The bottom would be open, but I think it would fit the style of toys back then and would look good in picture ( although slightly oversized)

thank you! And I always looked for more Clash at the store hoping for something else to come by way! I actually did a swappable hand with a peg and had a peg on the fork but found that drilling the wrist out was not something people wanted to do!

Skeletons! I'd really dig some Harryhausen Skellies! I bought Perseus from a Target with some stocked up Lunch money, back in the day. That guy didn't even make it home before he dropped out of a sweatshirt pocket, and I never saw him again. IIRC, IK don't remember if they ever made a Medusa figure, or the old guy that Burgess Meredith played with the mechanical owl.

I hd no idea as a child that they had a toy line. I do remember seeing the laserdisc at Gemco and being obsessed with that. Although we didn’t own a player. It’s damn offensive that they didn’t have a Medusa in the line. She was the best!!! Looking forward to that! This I film made me obsessed with Greek Mythology. My friend met Ray Harryhausen at SD Comic Con back in the day and he was really kind.

Great way to innovate. If you don't have it, just make it. Whats that line from Zeus in Jason & the Argonauts, _"The gods are best served by those who want their help least."_ 👍

I had all of these still with the weapons. The Kraken got sold off in a yard sale when I was away at school. It still had the box. The right fin always fell off on mine. I had the figures and Pegasus for years after, but I still have no idea where they are. Gave the Pegasus to a friend. For some reason, I chewed on his wings. 😆

Fantastic work. I do remember these as a kid and the movie on HBO. So glad you’re filling in the gaps. Just a recommendation. There’s a channel called Retroblasting that has had a big following in the action figure world. The owner is not a very nice guy. He’s been really awful to people on his livestreams for no reason and in his comments. It’s really bad. Probably heard of him, if not avoid him.

Dude, your making all the stuff I wanted as a kid when I got these for xmas. I wish they had finished the line. Would have loved Andromeda, the witches, Zeus, and Poseidon, Hera, and the other gods. But that Bubo kicks butt. I dont know why they never made him. Maybe when you do medusa you can figure a way to make her head removable. Hopefully one of these days one of these 3d designers will make a Kraken we can 3d print.

Have you considered 3D printing the bottom of the tail for the Kraken? I have the toy, but would prefer the tail have a snap in bottom. I also sewn shoulder sleeves to hide the ball joints a bit, but it would be great to have something that could snap on to give it a smoother look. You do great work. Thanks.

For the serious CLASH OF TITANS collectables the x plus & gentle giant versions are the best made (the Gentle Giant vinyl figures ACTUALLY scanned from the models used in the film) & you can't get more accurate than that, of course they arent available now, BUT I'd love to see them scanned by a collector & then 3d printed.
