Glad I got mine and not surprised it sold out. It's got a lot of cross collector interest (hot wheels collectors and Transformers collectors). Also, one of the few time Mattel and Hasbro worked together on licencing.

I was shocked this sold out! This is a prime example, pun intended, of just because I can afford it doesn't mean I'll buy it. I don't see $80 and the engineers couldn't even make a blaster that pegs into a hole. I'll definitely be picking up the Optimus prime and Bumblebee standard Hot Wheels. That will be 12 dollars well spent

I’ll wait until it’s on discount, but even with the non-separating legs, (update: they do kinda separate, so it’s not as bad as I thought. I probably should have finished the video before making any definitive statements. My bad 😅) I love this mini-HotWheels OP toy! With the initial photos I thought it’s just G1 Prime in chrome colors. As in, I thought it was the same size as the original toy. Still cool, but I wasn’t too impressed. But after seeing that it actually is scaled down to HotWheels size, meaning it could go driving down a track. I’m actually pretty stoked about this! I grew up with a BUNCH of HotWheels, Matchbox, and other small toy cars! I literally had an old tin barrel filled with small cars! So seeing the Transformers finally cross over with HotWheels is pretty dang cool!!! But yeah, I’ll wait for it to go on discount + I have enough money to spare! $80 is just a little too much for me rn!

Just a friendly heads-up; you mistransformed the packaging. The backing card is reversible and the other side is his "Transformers" packaging for his robot mode.

If it came with a transforming trailer I would pay $100 at the most for it $80 seems like too much money for just the cab , maybe $50 would be more reasonable but that's coming from a fan of transformers

Am I the only one bugged by the fact that they did not properly replicate the leg separation that the original transformation had. He just looks off in robot mode with his legs together in the trailer position. For $80 it should at least replicate the original transformation.

In all of the promo pics and almost all review videos his leg tampos are off, with both yellow dots at the top… there is at least one video review where they are correct however, so it’s not all copies, but certainly seems most of them so far.

Wow, over engineered. How do you remember all of those steps to transform. Lol. Jk. Loose legs are a shame at twice the price of should have been. But I sort of get it, lol.
