Such a beautiful set! Congratulations! I’m so happy you got this one piece! I know you were stressed about it, and it went smoothly! 1 more grail off the checklist! Man, the comparison of paint coating to the set counterparts in comparison to standard retail releases are like night and day.

After watching this I went and found an old article from Two A Day (The original Take5aDay...) I remember reading this back then when I was 13 and now I feel old 😅The article trys predicting what the value of this will be in the future and its fun to see what they got right. No joke, there's even a comment on it from 15 years ago that reads: "Imagine 15 years from now, the day the SOS officially becomes vintage!" I sadly don't have this set or Mac Icar Heck I I barely have a Cars 1 racer besides Sage Vanderspin and Murray Clutchburn. I sometimes wish for The Motor Speedway of the South was re-released with Thailand variants inluding racers that never got a thailand variant.

I grew up with collecting tons upon tons of disney cars, I was a kid at the time and I have heavily played with most of them, however I have some from cars 2 and 3 that have been opened but hardly if ever been played with to this day I still have my collection and I still look in the toy section of the shops to see what they have in stock I have a dream to collect every single car from the movies (including Frank (which I have a plastic model of) and bessie)) *Edit if i remember correctly in the beginning of the first movie Mcqueen says "one winner, 42 losers" so why only 37 diecasts?

I’m certain I had stuff from this set when I was a young child. Children put things in the mouth. That zinc stuff probably was not healthy for me hahahaha
