I appreciate the review, but like you, I find this figure a bit lacking. The only Revelation figure I picked up is Battle Cat. It's a bit big, but I like the Cringer head underneath the armor. Besides, I needed a companion for my Ultimates Club Grayskull He-Man. I hope the Revelation figures don't displace the Origins figures. As for the show, I think it is an abomination, but I wasn't expecting any better. There is less and less talent in the entertainment industry as agenda has surpassed craft in importance. Teela was always an interesting character with an interesting heritage. A great story could have been told about her without masculinizing her or diminishing other characters.

I like the look of this figure, but I’m not a huge fan of the cartoon. It’s enjoyable enough but just felt meh to me. I think the only 2 figures in this line I’m gonna pick up are gonna be this and the battlecat.

Always enjoy your reviews Spot, you do a solid job of showing us what we need to know. The quality of video & how close you move in on the figures really aid in the presentation. This figure needs to be customized by a new head/face sculpt that makes him more manly & less boyish. Also a re-paint of the flesh tone then adding some patina to the belt arm bands. That would make it much better but nothing can fix the build/posture which gives it that crappy Rob Liefeld look. Lol

I never been sure I liked This line figures, thanks to the horrible Revelations Netflix show, I wont buy it. It’s a shame to see Kevin Smith express him self like Tee-la with no tolerence at all, but that explains the Revelations plot

Wow, the Netflix Revelation series gotta be one of the biggest toy commercial scam to ever be conceived. They advertised using He-Man image splattered everywhere, from the trailer, poster, Toy shelf display, to Liar Smith keep lying about how he was "super fan" at the start and then walked back saying he thought it was a show for baby. You thought Transformers The movie killing off Optimus Prime was bad? This show basically said: "Hold my beer, I'll do worse".

Just got my He-Man "Revelation" and I love it.mine, the tan is ok, at least the torso has the same tan as the arms and legs. But you're right. They should have used the body color from the origins. With the head sculpt, same here, I find it a bit off especially with the chin part. Well, at first at least. But it's growing on me. You're also right with the sword, origins' is better. The boots, I'm not a fan boots with heels. For me, It does not go with the overall sort of "barbarian" attire. I also noticed it at the cartoons as well. Anyways, I love your review and keep making videoes like this.

While I do prefer the origins line I’d like to have some 7-8 inch masters of the universe figures to be in scale with my marvel legends so I’ll probably keep getting these and I think they’re not bad or too badly priced

I kinda want to pick up he-man and skeletor but no one in my city is selling them. walmart is suppose to have a full endcap display specifically for these figures but none of my walmarts ever stock any new figures. as for the cartoon, it was good but it wasn't what I was hoping for. the first episode was perfect but the rest was just very jarring. hopefully the part 2 of the season will feel more like he-man.

I for the most part collect 1/6 figures now so I'm not in the loop with smaller scale lines. Just wondering if you think Mattel knew of the Netflix story. If not that would suck because they're going to be losing alot from long time fans being turned off by the show and what Smith has been saying to the fans.

I really don't know why Mattel would have been ok with this? I mean He-Man for them is a bankable franchise with a well known character. Anyone can say there was more to the series than just He-Man...sure but He-Man was still the face of the brand. It would be like putting out a Batman cartoon and killing him off in the first episode to let Robin take over, Fans wouldn't be thrilled with the idea, same really goes for He-Man too

If this was intended for new fans they completely failed. Going in blind, if I were a new viewer to the franchise, I'd assume Teela is the main character. Imagine seeing this guy taking up all the space in the toy aisle and no Teela in sight. Mattel are either insane or dumb.

I was soooo excited about the new animation series and adding the new figures as well... Then i saw the Kevin Smith \ Netflix animation... What a 💩 show... Hollywoke destroyed yet another pop culture hero! I so glad i didn't preordered these figures and i won't see the next season seen its not my He Man I grew up watching.

If you want to see a girl as the main hero, watch She-Ra. Because that´s what that show is about. This show is supposed to be about He-Man, and all the true fans know that, except you apparantly.

I felt like the character designs are not toyetic looking enough. He-Man, Skeleton, are fine I suppose, but the other figures all come in their new "5 years later" looks which are not aesthetically appealing (especially Beast Man) with the exception of Evil Lyn's look which at least still feels true to her original look.

I thought the show was good, but I despise how it was advertised. It was advertised as “the NEW *He-Man* show!” If they were upfront, like, “This isn’t about He-Man, but instead about Teela” it would’ve gone over so much better

I didn't like the Netflix series at all. Didn't even finish after I saw Man At Arms and Adam get treated like jobbers. The figure has alot of flaws. It's out of proportion in some areas. The left arm on my figure doesn't go down all the way like the right one does. The head is just off. He doesn't look fierce. I still bought He-Man just because I'm a fan of his figure in particular and I needed him to go with Battle Cat which is amazing in this line. Battle Cat is a must because to me that really a Cringer figure who I absolutely love. But I'm not gonna play around with these anyway so as a display, this HeMan still gets a pass. I just had to mention Battle Cat cause he definitely gives this HeMan a much needed enhancement. I thought Skeletor and Evil Lyn in this line were great. Always love the paint jobs on those.

I enjoyed the show and couldn’t wait to get the figures. I got moss man and he man yesterday. Opened them both up and was very disappointed. They’re just not hitting with me and I really wanted to be all in on the line. The articulation is a there but doesn’t execute well. And the looks I just can’t get into. Maybe the disproportionate heads. They barely fit in with any other lines

I grew up with the original show and figures. I enjoyed the show, it’s only part 1 Skelegod needs to get some destruction in. Heman will make an epic return. As for the figures. He Man is a miss for me. Something is missing. However, Battlecat is amazing. I can’t wait for Beastman too.

If you think the original shows is good as an adult , then don’t watch a revelation. It’s made for adults and older children. It has depth and actual several story lines. If you think the original is good , you may not be able to understand revelation. Keep with your kids shows.

The original show was 126 episodes long and He-Man always wins in the end. Even at 5 years old, I always knew that Skeletor never wins and there was a happy ending. I don't see how you could make a carbon copy of that formula in 2021 for adults. Maybe the next He-Man show that's coming out later this year aimed directly at children will be more acceptable to those who didn't like this one...
