Once I saw the "frilly" it all made sense. A master of his craft. 👏

The ease and skill with which he shapes the glass is evidence of his heritage as a son of the Seguso family of Murano. Bravo !!

I'm really sad to see that the goblet cracked and was still off center. Otherwise, a beautiful piece.

Thanks for showing these videos! I love them! I'm sorry if my comment seemed like an attack. It definitely was not intended to. I understand not everything works out always. The etching was so beautiful that I was sad to see a crack in it. But the artwork is so stunning. I just recently started watching these videos and I love them

Awesome! What was the song name at the end when showing the final piece? :)

Hi, the song is “Shine” by mindthings. Thanks for watching!

It's neat that you have the camera in the reheating chamber, is there any reason why they didn't also install one in the gathering furnace? Is that one too hot for the window maybe?

The view would be blindingly orange since the molten glass emits its own light. Thanks for watching!

That broken chalice is a real bummer.

So, who puts a thumbs-down on videos like this? No explanation in the comments? People are weird....

Maybe because the inside cup checked?

@@teamsmp Thanks; I wasn't sure if that was a cut r a check, but I couldn't make it symmetrical in my mind's eye. Not worth rewinding. There were more than a few issues, not tiny ones, along the way, not the least of which was the video's sound. I'm not sure any or the sum of them is worth potentially making Corning's videos drop off of people's KZbin feeds, though. Comments are a note to the content creator, thumbs and subscriptions trumpet to the entire world via algorithms. ( I just hope Dane and Katherine are still on speaking terms. )
