Matter killed it in every round. Clean delivery, good stage presence and much more polished than Olde English. Almost a complete body but I think English finally hit some good lines in his 3rd after his interaction with the crowd.

Olde English let himself down. Matter did what he was supposed to do. Matter owned his performance and showed his comfort level on stage, whereas Olde English represents the side of UK Battle rap we rather not see. Awkwardness, choking and lacking in believability. Sadly I'm not seeing anyone in the scene weak enough for him to beat.

Ive often thought about a league putting on a ghost writing event like get a bunch of performance heavy battlers and pair them up with strong writers. Itd be cool to hear people like frankie phraser and olde english etc bars spat how they should be ...i know to a certain extent this happens behind closed doors anyway but i think an event actually set up as ghost writing only where the battler performing has no input in the writing process could be quite cool...i could be wrong and nobody would be intrested in something like that but as a concept like april fools etc it would be worth a go. Anyone agree/disagree? Im cool with both opinions
