Every word in this video is just true. Simply the best hot end I have ever used.

3d Print Creator hi Brian, do you think is worth replacing the original with the E3D V 6 on the Davinci Pro 1? In term of quality?

All my printer got a E3D V6 on first step.... one got the Chimera/Cyclops, and Titan extruders... and ever since, no probs.

@1:12 you said, "this hot end does not jam." Mine jams every large job I put through it. I have yet to be able to finish a large print job. I'm really disappointed with my E3D V6. :(

i have that exact hotend and it continuously jams.

Of course they can't endorse Chinese clones, the video was all one big advertisement. Don't expect real information from a salesman, expect up-playing.

I have a monoprice select v2 e3d and the hot end keeps jamming time after time do you think it is worth it to keep fixing it or should I just replace it with a newer one also it did not have a silicone sock to insulate the heaterblock but used kapton tape.

can you run abs filament on the printer with this
@MatterHackers8 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use ABS filament, but your printer will need a heated bed.

Got the Bondtech extruder from MatterHackers about a month ago and must say its a great improvement over the stock one. Looking at changing the hotend. How difficult would it be to change, I have a Creatbot that uses the Bowden setup. Main concern is the wiring and how difficult it is.
@MatterHackers7 жыл бұрын
Glad you are liking the Bondtech! Shoot an email over to support@matterhackers.com - we can recommend a good hotend and let you know what the process would be. Thanks!

If I'm going to pring PLA/ABS, why would I use anything else but stock hot-end? I lol'd at don't use clones, they aren't worth it. They are worth it, depending on your needs. Very bias statement.

MatterHackers how does it compare to rostock max v3?
@MatterHackers8 жыл бұрын
Both great options! Rostock is a bit larger build volume and cheaper. Can't go wrong with either one.

Just curious as if he is sponsored by E3D for stating you shouldn't buy clone. I understand that many clones are probably not manufactured up to E3D quality, however spending almost 40% the price of a Voxelab Aquila only for an hotend upgrade seems unresonable, especially when you know the design is open source.

Excellent video Dave! I think I need these on my gMax 1.5XT+ since I pretty much only use PLA filaments. And it looks awesome and works like magic! #NOJAMS
