This is the second short film From Guyanabai Praduckshonz with a slightly different outlook. It is meant to touch a bit on some of the issues in relationships in Guyana.
Special thanks to all the members of the Enterprise Youth Development Group (EYDG) who volunteered to be the actors and crew to make this video possible.
Guyanese Open Yuh Eye, is a video produced by Guyanabai Praduckshonz is to show some of the events that occur within our community at large that are over looked. We have at some point in our life experience some of it in various forms. As a community at large, we need to make a change. We need to take responsibility for our actions and take the consequences into consideration. As them old people does say, "na dish out wan yuh cant eat"....

This quite frankly has to be the most touching thing I have ever seen, having been born in the states but having parents that were born in Guyana, i had a view of what they might have went through and it opened my eyes so much. Literally thank you for the tears. You rock!

Guyanabai Praduckshonz you did a great job! meh like it bad bad bad... but seriously very sad what's happening in Guyana. As far as the suicide rates and domestic violence and child abuse. I am an American from Chicago, Illinois...however I plan on moving to Guyana in the next few years. I was gonna go to get certified in water treatment and agriculture prior to leaving the US. However I do believe after watching this my calling should remain, social work and peer support what I am currently doing for Veterans in the U.S. I will do it for free in Guyana. As long as it saves Guyanese lives. A very good friend of mine, she put me on to this video. Great message, great music, well done!
