So in the end, what is the difference between "accounts payable" and "accrued liabilities"?
@abdelrahmanayman30577 жыл бұрын
wish i answered sooner sorry :D, Accounts Payable is when you buy something from someone on credit(didn't pay yet)so what happens is you gain the purchased item as an asset and to balance it, you add the same amount on the other side in the liabilities section as trade/Accounts payable . on the other hand accrued liabilities is when you get a SERVICE and still haven't paid yet like electricity you gain it as an asset and to balance the balance sheet you add the same amount this asset is worth in the liabilities section as accrued payables/other payables

i am so new to accounting, its my 1st class. thanks for breaking things apart and making it clear, since i didn't understand anything today in my first class in accounting, you get a thumbs up from me, i just have one question, the professor uses under EQUITY, Com Stock, DIV, REV, and EXP, but you use CAPITAL - w/D, REV, EXP, is there any difference between what you use or he uses?

What's the difference between unearned revenue and fees earned
@TheSugarplum77013 жыл бұрын
I am working on a worksheet and have an adjustment here that got me totally confused. Please help me. Thank you, Sir. Of the Service revenue recorded, 520 was not earned for the current year. Original entry Cash Debit Unearned Service Revenue Credit. So the revenue was not earned, why would we need an adjusting entry and what would it be? Thank you.
