Dave the pro from Prestwick is a very good "extra". You want to get him on some more vids......

It's a fantastic course, and I've been lucky enough to play it as a member's guest on a few occasions! The history is incredible, and the members have always made me feel very welcome.

We can all relate to you Matt...the difference between greatness and mediocre is often a few inches here or there. You are not mediocre, however, and the game is coming along nicely. Thanks for this video, it was an amazing course. I hope to get across the Atlantic with my clubs one day.

Prestwick remains one of my favorite courses. Such a fantastic bit of tradition, everyone was really nice, and the caddies made the experience epic. I'll be back next year, and a trip to Ayr for dinner at the Drunken Coo and a round at Prestwick are on the agenda. If you can get to Prestwick, skip whatever else you have to skip to do it. Absolutely worth it. I can only hope that Carter sneaks in while I'm chipping onto the 4th green. ;-)

Really is the most beautiful course you could ever see. Never actually played it but my old Granny lived just down the road and we used to walk up past it along the shore,

There’s a pub/ restaurant on the Main Street in Prestwick with a plaque marking where the Golf society sat and arranged the first Open Championship. The rest is history 🙏👍

What a fantastic course and club! Played it 20 ish years ago, light rain, but the wind.... 26 m/s... I really dont care about the score, the wind was so bad it was funny! Hope to be back one day.....

Hi Matt, about what you talk about...how much is a caddie when playing at this courses?
@davidafleming63367 ай бұрын
Taking a caddy at Prestwick will certainly enhance your day. There are some unusual lines from the tees and a couple of blind shots. Basic fee is £65 plus gratuity. Highly recommended. Thanks For watching. David Fleming

Just think you get caught up in your score, Fryer. Lose track of the process. That said, you struck the ball well overall. A few dodgy chip shots hurt you. Great course!

He really doesn’t have the attitude to be a good player. He would be unbelievably miserable to play with. Plenty of those shots were very good, yet he was huffing and puffing like a child. It’s so nauseating.

Great history, but too many tourists for me. That’s good for the club and Scottish golf in general, but doesn’t float my boat. We have enough golf courses that provide a less hectic welcome.

Love the fact Matt has put at the start of the video that it’s 6908 yards and then uses fake yardages on the holes, as if he’s playing off the back tees. The 7th is not 484 yards off the tee you played off, as is the case on loads more of the holes. At least be up front with people watching, Matthew.

Looks like some of the old mental attitude Matt. Too hard on yourself and down too quick from an unlucky break. More positive please then we see the old Matt’s confidence/arrogance 😊

Some of the shot selections and club choices were truly awful here, more so given the wind.
