I love the bluesy feel. I know he mentioned that he was aiming to have a bit more of a bluesy feel to this album, I definitely think he's accomplished it! The lyrics in all of these songs on this album are just amazing. I am in awe of how this man can still create such art! :) Plus my mom likes that his sound is a bit more toned down, and we can listen to this album together haha.

It's like a bluesy dirge or a semi-political chant (even a little Tom Waits-ish). Whatever it is, it's definitely refreshing. I'm glad Manson's got some of his old ghoulish gusto back considering his last couple of albums were not up to par. I'm just glad this guy can still consistently pump out a record every two or three years.

My interpretation of the song is that it's stating that the USA is a bully and uses its guns to keep its citizens United in war against a common enemy so they don't war upon themselves. We're killing strangers (other countries) so we don't kill the ones that we love (other Americans). Truly brilliant song. Thank you marilyn Manson for another masterpiece. You will always be my hero!

This album 😍😍😍😃 as he get's older the album's that he and those he work's with just get better . I know this has been out a while but with the new album I have enjoyed listening to some of the older stuff. Hope we get more music from him in the near future.
