Thanks my brother. Some people feel that fasting is just from food. No. It's seeking God daily through prayer and reading his word. Also understanding that it's through what Christ did at the cross that gives us victory. This is how our measure of faith is increased.

You have to read it to understand. It is about Jesus casting out the seizure-demon. The verses prior said when the disciples come to him in private, they asked why THEY couldn't do it. (because of small faith) -The reason the verse isn't in is because Jesus just casted it out by divine command when he said it could only be casted out by faith and fasting. (it is a contradiction).
