SUCH an artist...i wish more people in the US would get a clue and listen to Matt Good...i've been a serious fan of Matt Good for years now he is just amazing
@aaronst.pierre30805 жыл бұрын
He doesn't want that. At the height of his career he turned away from that future. Nothing can take away from his greatness though.

They sound tight as f*ck. "Might have rubbed you the wrong way, but thats all over now." Kicks my ass each and every time I hear it.

Matt and the people he chooses to play with convey such raw emotion and feeling. This is what music is supposed to feel like.

This gets better every time I hear it. Even better to watch everyone play together.

I'm 'shy' out of respect sometimes but a song like this is a perfect demonstration, to sing along with - if I can do it 'honestly' to the original meaning of Matt's vocal performance, I know I'm warmed up. He's a truly impressive singer

Probably fans of his early work. This is a good song, no doubt but he sort of changed his whole sound with Hospital music. I thought Vancouver was his wodst album with White light rock and roll but also Im happy Matt finally feels better in his personal life. Some of that same mystery of age and development is shared by most great bands and musicians. From the Rolling stones, U2 and Pearl Jam for examples. I think you peak, and then go to a different place. Maybe a person place, self refkection, personal growth, who knows but the sound changes.

I've seen him 7 times. some of the shows are the best I've ever seen and some are the worst. I believe it's a reflection of the heart put into this music. if he is feeling his songs and finds that place in his heart that inspired them his music can bring you to tears. when he plays the shows as a job it feels less personal then listening to a cd. I love Matt good and always will. I don't think every night you can expect a performance like this. when it happens it's magical. thank you for your music Matt. cheers

I can't get enough of this song and Matt Good... I now live in Australia and I can't find anything else that will satisfy my urge for good music as much as Matt's music. Thank you Matthew Good for keeping me alive in Australia.
@kaaelo07 жыл бұрын
that statement about urge for good music is the exact description of what his music is all about. It's not for everyone probably, but for some it hits the deepest chambers of soul.

Don't get me wrong I loved original MGB but Matt's played with some amazing guitarists since Dave
@pingponghappytime5 жыл бұрын
Whoa whoa just hold the friggin phone dudes. Dave Genn was the best thing that ever happened to Matt. Dave Genn wasn't just a guitar player, he co produced with Livesey and made all those earlier songs so great. Yes, Matt was dealing with mental health issues but losing Genn was the beginning of the end. Dave tried to stay, but Matt burned that bridge. I'm surprised to see Ian back playing with him. Nice song though

Nice comment Dong69 - only two months to get to the party. By the way, that's a badass handle you got there. Having 69 in your name implies that you are both a giver AND receiver. You must have been very popular in choir.
