Matthew Perry's SNL Debut: Behind the Scenes of His 1997 Hosting Gig (Flashback)

Matthew Perry chatted with ET during his 'Saturday Night Live' hosting debut in 1997. The actor opened up about what it was like to be a part of the sketch comedy show, how it was a 'dream come true' for him and how it was similar and different from his experience on 'Friends.' Matthew also shared which celebrity impressions he'd be making on the show, including one of his fellow 'Friends' co-stars, Matt LeBlanc, as he channeled his best Joey Tribbiani for a parody sketch about the sitcom. Plus, the 'SNL' cast opened up about working with Matthew as ET got an inside look at his rehearsal for a skit with Will Ferrell.

I was deeply saddened by the passing of my favorite Friends cast member, Matthew Perry, last October at the age of 54. It's heartbreaking that he will never be part of the Friends reboot/revival.

Several of Matthew's assistants had medical training, they had access to his body, to Matthew's veins, access to all the medications to treat him. They lived in place with Matthew in his home, every day. They were well aware and saw that Matthew loved lying in the pool every day, the water relaxed and soothed him. They gave him diffuse Ketamine therapy and specifically, intentionally injected him with a lethal dose equal to the dose of general anesthesia before surgery. This was done so that Matthew would pass out in the pool, choke, swallow water and drown. So that everyone would think it was an accident. And the main goal, his assistants, I think, was to get the inheritance, his millions, his cars, his houses, his property. Matthew most likely made a deed of gift of inheritance to one of his assistants. And the deed of gift took effect after his death. Lawyers and attorneys need to look closely at who got Matthew Perry's millions, houses, cars, and other assets and who had a vested interest in his death. Oh, and the most important piece of evidence that he was murdered: Matthew drowned at 11:00 a.m. and 911 was called by his aides in the evening at 4:00 p.m.Why so late? So that no CPR in the world could save him.

What a load of shite. They would have to kill his parents siblings and extended family niece nephews etc to get his money. He had a severe addiction to drugs alcohol and cigarettes he died before his head entered the water from COPD and a heart attack brought on by ketamine and the hot water.
