Buying silver and gold is easy, but it is renowned for stability during economic hard times like this. The main problem is investing in stocks, dividends and even cryptocurrencies to grow your portfolio.... I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $190K for some time now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies ... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions

Just try to diversify your portfolio to other market sectors, that way your portfolio is balanced and you don’t get to make so much losses. Also engage the services of a financial advisor to walk you through.

It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Natalie Rose Strayer.

Politics are simply actors and puppets for those who own and control the country as an unknown oligarchy. Schools are a place to guide the young in the population into being the best servants for the oligarchs. So the answer is because these people would never serve the oligarchs if they understood what was going on and they could not buy or control those that understand the system. Can't trick someone that knows the trick.

As I see it, what really matters is the standard of living, and nobody can honestly say that on average the standard of living is rising! My grand parents imigrated from Europe to Perú before world war one. They imported hardware from Europe and owned a hardware store in Lima. They lived modestly for the time, but ate at Home for lunch every day, their house had Marble floors, their furniture was oak and cedar, their cloth was cotton and silk. They drunk tap water, ate organic fresh foods everyday, had no mortgage, no insurance, no money, and best of all, they had no debt and all the time in the world for themselves! Today millionares dont live that good, even billionares live in apartments, buy their drinking water, eat sandwiches at the office for lunch, and need vacations often enough to compensate for their work load. I dread thinking of how will my grand children live!!

No, gold did not outperform S&P 500. It shouldn't. Gold certainly outperforms USD, as it should because gold is anti-inflationary. But gold is nonproductive. In the long term, gold shouldn't outperform technology which is productive. Gold is therefore an insurance, not an investment in long-term. However, in a manipulated and distorted market like today's, gold can be a great investment for the near term or midterm. This is because of the timing, not because of its fundamental nature.
@NarrelleChain2 ай бұрын
The reason you don't use gold to buy things generally is because it will be worth a lot more in a year or 2, so you hang onto whilst it accumulates in value, the gold i bought in 2020 is worth maybe 25-33% more now, thereabouts, i knew nothing about gold but i knew i had to get my $ out of my superannuation fund, when the medical scam happened, i am a conspiracy realist and proud of it!🎉🎉🎉

Our economy could be fixed if all states would legalize Marijuana and take 50% or more of the taxes and apply that to the national debt plus, remove the spenders from the administration as well as significant reductions in the military budget, close bases all over the planet and bring industry back. That is a solution for us.

The best thing to do is get rid of the government that we have now. They are the ones sending trillions to Ukraine,supposedly, to a war that is a no nothing. These politicians are dipping into the budget and helping themselves taking our money. The states need to secede from the Union and govern themselves.
@davidlauer64343 ай бұрын
If the data shows that before the pandemic 18% of global trades were settled in US dollars and that increased to 36% of global trades, isn't that evidence that the dollar has devalued by 50%, hence the inflation experienced since 2020, due to the massive expansion of the supply of currency. ???
@DominelliGuitars3 ай бұрын
I always like listening to Matt, but my concern with Gold is that if they do another major money print, as he claims they will, Gold just goes up in devalued dollars too. Add capital gains to it when you try to sell it, you get a double hit. I think it's great to own some, but those times where gold really outperforms, and behaves like a speculation, are very rare time, blood in the streets type of scenario. At times like this, there are probably many other big concerns to deal with. Factor in all the BS that the governments can do to F with the markets, or make it difficult to sell gold....Jeez, I don't know. Gold is a safe place to be but it's no panacea. You need other assets too, as he acknowledges.
@MarktrustingJesus3 ай бұрын
Extremely well spoken and explained. As a novice in investing and having a lump sum given in an inheritance just recently it is hard to go against the masses in this FOMO mega bubble and choose to avoid risk assests as i dont feel i could step out before the top. 08 crash was as obvious as this one, and everyone said who could have known? I always scratched my head thinking it was as plain as could be. Devalued money is the only financial option for the dollar. Why buy equities that are insanely overvalued now? But will gold tank short term when the bubble pops before it shoots higher after fed prints or will it stay high and just keep going. Id rather get as many ounces as possible but dont want to miss the window before the masses realize equities are in the toilet. Hmmm.

We can save all we can, invest in metals all we can afford, but for those lucky enough to even have a pension there's not a dang thing we can do to limit risk to that. Same is true of SS. Also, anybody not wanting to save in dollars in their brokerage accounts buying phys, pslv, gdx, miners, whatever - a huge correction will take those down with them as folks sell to cover their margin calls. Fair value might be determined after a bottom but not right now. We are strapped to the tracks and the train is arriving.

I think what's gonna vaporize are the govt pensions people are counting on. First the gold plated public sector pensions and then SS itself which is a Ponzi scheme. The banksters cleaned out the trough from 2008 onwards and it is now bare.

For all the condescending comments from Matt, he seems to confuse US dollars and US Treasuries repeatedly. Isn't that like finance 101? If Treasuries (debt) lose value (e.g. when "foreigners dump them"), dollars GAIN value (vs other currencies i.e. DXY). That's because US interest rates go up in that scenario. Inflation is a totally separate matter.
