This song really hit home, grew up in a Christian home and rebelled transitioning into adult hood, going against every rule my parents set. Running after worldly things left my heart crushed, now God is using me to reach out to others through my life experiences. He truly uses the ones with scars, broken things for His glory. Thank you El Elyon!

Discouragement comes in many different forms. I dont know about other people but I'm going through a valley of doubt and a lack of faith. The fact that this song talks about our father using the "rebels" and the "prodigals" as well as the "scarred", really fills me with hope and encouragement. I know the word reassures his children, but God knows how to speak to us and like Jesus said in John 10:27-28, 27 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand". Thank you Jesus for speaking to me through this song. I am yours and I'm looking forward to how you are going to use me. If there is anyone else who feels the same way, please know you are not alone and that Jesus is praying for all his sheep good and bad.... like me! I cant wait for my crown.
